Set icurio as the default search provider in a web browser. Select your browser below for step-by-step instructions.
Apple Safari for Apple OS X
- If open, close Safari
- Download and install Glims, a Safari plug-in to add additional search features
- During installation of Glims, at the Select Version prompt, select Lite version if you want basic functions
- During installation of Glims, at the Ads/Shopping prompt, select Off if you do not wish to see sponsored ads
- Once installation of Glims is complete, open Safari
- From the application menu, select Safari
- Select Preferences
- Select the icon labeled Glims
- Within the list on the left, select Search Engines List, and then click the button labeled Add
- Enter icurio into the text field labeled Name
- Select Web Site from the list labeled Type
- In the text field labeled Query URL, copy and paste the following:
https://www.icurio.com/searchKeyword?np=/templates/sections/search-results/federatedResults.ftl&pp=/templates/sections/search-results/federatedResults.ftl&searchType=WEBCONTENT&start=1&limit=10&query=%23query%23
- Select the button labeled Add
- Deselect any additional search engines you do not wish to use
- Select the red button at the top left of the Preferences window to close it
- Select the icon inside of the address bar at the right, and then select icurio from list of search engines
Google Chrome for Microsoft Windows or Apple OS X
- Open the Chrome menu by selecting the three lined icon located to the right of the address bar
- Within the list on the left, select Settings
- Within the section labeled Search, select the button labeled Manage search engines…
- Scroll to the bottom of the section labeled Other search engines
- Enter icurio in the text field labeled Add a new search engine
- Enter www.icurio.com in the text field labeled Keyword
- In the text field labeled URL with %s in place of query, copy and paste the following:
https://www.icurio.com/searchKeyword?np=/templates/sections/search-results/federatedResults.ftl&pp=/templates/sections/search-results/federatedResults.ftl&searchType=WEBCONTENT&start=1&limit=10&query=%s

Hover over the icurio search engine, and then select Make Default

Select the button labeled Done
Microsoft Internet Explorer for Microsoft Windows
- Visit the IE Search Provider Builder Tool
- In the text field labeled Copy the URL of the Search results page into this box, copy and and paste the following:
https://www.icurio.com/searchKeyword?np=/templates/sections/search-results/federatedResults.ftl&pp=/templates/sections/search-results/federatedResults.ftl&searchType=WEBCONTENT&start=1&limit=10&query=TEST
- Enter icurio in the text field labeled Choose a name for this search provider
- Select the button labeled Install
- In the pop-up window, select the checkbox labeled Make this my default search provider, and then click Add
