When you register as an icurio user, you are automatically assigned to a Student role. To change your role to Teacher, either your icurio Administrator will need to change your role through the User Management function of the icurio Admin Tools, or you will need to get the Teacher Code from your icurio Administrator. Once you acquire your Teacher Code, simply go to My Profile in the User Menu, type the Teacher Code in the Teacher Code area, and click .
Having teacher rights means that your icurio experience will be different from a student’s experience (although you will be able to see what your students see by clicking on “View as Student” just below the User Menu). As a teacher, your home page will include quick access to your Standards, as well as to an array of Teacher Support materials. Your Content Results page will also offer you links to specific Standards associated with your search. In addition, having teacher rights allows you to save searches communally among icurio users in your school and district, and to create classes – just a few of the features in My Content.
